The restaurant is located in the building of Pago del Vicario winery. On the one hand, it has a splendid view of 130 hectaresthat integrates Pago del Vicario vineyard and, on the other hand,of the winery’s barrel room. It offers the possibility of carrying out both wine tourism activities such as guided tours, wine tastings and menus paired with wine.
The cuisine of Pago del Vicario is based on the frankness of flavours and raw materials. The rotation of the menu is dynamic in the offered meals, being seasonal products always present and taking into account that what actually matters is both the product and quality.
It offers the current authentic cuisine from La Mancha with innovative touches. We can find good examples in the Villadiego cheese brick with apple jam; mellow rice from the small game hunting of Campo de Calatrava and grilled deer loin in marinade of Montes de Toledo. Also, it is worth mentioning some desserts such as our handmade quince jelly with semi-cured Villadiego cheese and the unmistakable Villadiego cheesecake. The views of nature and meadow with the landscapes of Montes de Toledo, Cabañeros and the Guadiana River, along with the exquisite wines of Pago del Vicario, provide another attraction to enjoy a restaurant where hunting is also very present.
